Zambia visa for Turkish citizens

Turkish citizens will need visa aside from preparation for safari adventure in Zambia. As such, this is where iVisa can provide assistance. It is very convenient since there is no need to go to diplomatic mission and simply apply from the comfort of your home through online. A laptop or a smartphone with an internet connection is all you need. Your chances are pretty high even if only 95 nationalities currently qualify for an evisa.

You can use a tool called the Visa Checker to confirm your eligibility. It is placed in the upper-right corner of iVisa’s website. Just select your nationality as Turkish citizens from the drop-down menu and choose Zambia as your destination. The information will be shown on the spot. Conveniently, you will be redirected to the application form if you are eligible. How easy is that?

What are Turkish citizens required to do?

The first thing you need to do is to collect all the documents and information. iVisa needs the documents to initiate your application. Here is a list of what you need to submit:

  • A valid passport – make sure that your passport is valid for at least six months from your date of entry in Zambia.

  • Proof of accommodation – a hotel confirmation or a letter from a host will suffice.

  • Return flight ticket

  • A scan of the information page of your passport

  • A digital photo of you – the photo needs to meet the criteria of a passport photo.

  • E-mail address – iVisa will send you a copy of the issued document via e-mail in PDF format. You need to print it before you leave.

  • Means of payment – iVisa accepts multiple methods of payment. You can use a credit or a debit card. Also, you can pay through PayPal as well since it has become quite popular in the past few years.

The next step for Turkish citizens is completing an application. It is not hard to do since it can be completed in 10 minutes. Moreover, you can call iVisa’s 24/7 customer service if you need any assistance with it.

The application is broken into three steps. The first one includes your general information such as name, address, e-mail, date or arrival in Zambia, passport info, and so on. Then, Turkish citizens must also choose the processing time and visa type at this point. Visa type comes with options regarding the number of entries and processing time comes with three options:

  • Standard processing time – you will receive your evisa within 3 business days for only $20.

  • Rush processing time – by opting for this choice, your evisa will be ready within 2 business days, and it costs more than the previous choice. You will be charged $60.

  • Super Rush processing time – this option is perfect for Turkish citizens who need to be on the plane to Zambia as soon as possible. It takes only 1 business day for the application to be processed. As you may expect, it is more expensive at the price of $80.

The second step will be about payment using the method listed above. Also, you need to review the information that you have provided. It is very important to review all the information because corrections are not allowed once your application is processed. This will result in applying for a new visa again which is not a good way to start your travel to Zambia.

Uploading additional documents will be the last step that Turkish citizens will do but required documents are determined by individual circumstances. As an example, Turkish citizens traveling with minors require more documents than people who go to Zambia alone. Nevertheless, you will be notified of what you need to upload.

Keep in mind that you will also be required to pay some fees upon arrival in Zambia. iVisa charges the processing of your application so that you get an approval letter. The visa per se will be given to you in Zambia once you made payments at the immigration office there. Lastly, the approval letter is accepted only at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka, the Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula International Airport in Livingstone, and at Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport in Ndola. Visas on arrival, on the other hand, are available all on airports.
