Tourist Visa Policy for Zambia

Zambia's tourist visa policy requires foreign tourists from most countries to have a visa to enter the country for leisure. Zambia welcomes visitors who can apply for a short-term visa online, at their arrival, or at a Zambian diplomatic mission abroad.

Tourists can stay in Zambia for 90 days starting from the day of entry with a Zambian visa. eVisa Zambia is a platform that offers visas for tourists. Applicants need to fill out a simple online form, and the entry permit will be emailed to them within a few days. Check Zambia‌ ‌visa‌ ‌policy‌ for more updates.

Online applicants for Zambia visas can choose between a single-entry visa, a double-entry visa, or a multiple-entry visa. Visas, in some cases, must be obtained at Zambia's embassy or consulate instead of at immigration offices. Visiting the diplomatic mission personally, along with any supporting documents needed, is required. In Zambia, certain nationalities are eligible for visas on arrival. In addition, some countries allow short-term visits by tourists without requiring a visa.

From the date of issue, the Zambia e-Visa Approval Letter will expire in three months. A person who hasn't used their visa to enter the country within the time period has to reapply.
