Canada Visitor Visa

For tourism, visiting friends or family, and short business trips. Valid for up to 10 years (passport‑linked), with the maximum duration of each stay usually limited to 6 months. This will be determined on a case-by-case basis by the visa officer reviewing the application.

Canada eTA

The eTA is an electronic entry permit for visa‑exempt nationals flying to or transiting through Canada. It’s linked to your passport and allows multiple short visits. Travelers are allowed to visit family and friends, conduct business activities and tourism, or travel for educational purposes.

What documents you’ll need to apply for the Canada eTA:

Passport from an eTA‑eligible country and valid for the entire stay
Email address to receive the approval notice
Credit or debit card to pay for your application

Canada Advance CBSA Declaration

Canada’s Advance CBSA declaration isn’t a visa, but it can still greatly speed up your entry into Canada. The CBSA declaration is an electronic version of the pen and paper customs declaration that you have to present at the Canadian border.

You can fill out and submit this for 72 hours before traveling.

What documents you’ll need for the Advance CBSA Declaration:

List and details of goods you want to declare

Canada Transit Visa*

For travelers transiting through Canada to a third country, staying less than 48 hours.

Required for many nationals, even if they never leave the secure transit zone.

*We currently don’t offer this visa, but it’s available on the Canadian government.

Canada (Working Holiday) Visa*

With this visa, young travelers (usually 18–30 or 35) from partner countries can visit Canada for a holiday and short‑term work experience.

Qualifying travelers may apply for this program three times, each time choosing a different category: working holiday, young professionals, and international co-op (Internship). All participants must obtain health insurance for the entire stay.

*We currently don’t offer this visa, but it’s still available on the Canadian government website.

Canada visa policy

Canada’s visa policy includes a wide range of travel document options based on your nationality, the purpose of your visit, and how long you intend to stay.

Citizens of visa-exempt countries can travel to Canada for short stays without a visa, but must first obtain an eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) if arriving by air.

Nationals from visa-required countries must apply for a Temporary Resident Visa (Visitor Visa) before entering Canada. This visa is commonly used for tourism, business travel, or visiting friends and family, and is often valid for multiple entries over a 10-year period, though each stay is generally limited to six months.

Travelers transiting through Canada for under 48 hours may require a Transit Visa, depending on their nationality, even if they remain airside at the airport.

For the most current and accurate visa information, travelers should refer to the official Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) website or consult their nearest Canadian visa office.
