Important Notice: Citizens of Pakistan need a Visitor Visa to enter New Zealand, but unfortunately, we don't currently offer the service. Keep an eye out for any future changes.

Citizens of Pakistan are not eligible for a New Zealand ETA, which means that as a Pakistani, you need to apply for a New Zealand Visitor Visa with New Zealand immigration.

I'm from Pakistan, do I need a visa to enter New Zealand?

Yes, you must have a visa to enter New Zealand. Currently, we only offer an ETA for NZ, and Pakistani citizens are not eligible to apply.

You can only apply for a consular visa with NZ immigration or with your local VFS center.

How long can I stay in New Zealand with an ETA?

You can enter New Zealand multiple times over a validity period of 2 years. Each visit can last up to three or six months for UK passport holders.

What are the requirements to apply for a NZ ETA?

You must be from an eligible country to apply for the NZ ETA.

Here is a list of what you need both when you apply and when you arrive in New Zealand:

  • Valid passport – You must ensure that your passport is valid for at least another 3 months from your departure date from New Zealand.

  • Digital photo – This digital photo must be as recent as possible and follow all the guidelines for a passport photo.

  • Means of payment – We ask you to pay while completing the application form. You can do that using a credit or a debit card and any other methods available for your nationality.

  • E-mail address – We send you the approved ETA via e-mail in PDF format.

  • Means of sustenance – Once you arrive in New Zealand, you must prove that you can provide for yourself during your trip. A bank account statement should be enough.

  • Return flight ticket – when you arrive at the airport, you may be required to show a return flight ticket to your country of origin (or another destination if you are in transit). If you do not have one, you have to prove you have enough money to buy one.

  • Proof of good character– if you have a criminal history, you must disclose this information when you apply

How can I apply for an ETA with iVisa?

You only need around 20 minutes to complete the 3-step application form.

1. Fill in details about yourself and your trip, then choose a processing time that best fits your needs.

2. Make the payment and check that the information in step one is correct. You need to ensure that every piece of information given is accurate and spelled correctly. Otherwise, your visa may be invalid or rejected.

3. Upload any required documents. Once you are done, you submit your application, and the approved ETA will arrive via e-mail in the timeframe of your choice.

Where can I find out more about the New Zealand ETA?

If you still have questions about the New Zealand ETA or any other visa applications, don't hesitate to contact our customer support team visa chat or WhatsApp.
