The faster options cost more, which raises the obvious question: What exactly are you paying to speed up?
Rush and Super Rush give an application priority within iVisa's processing and review process. Depending on the product, that can include reviewing information, checking documents, identifying errors or missing details, and getting the application ready for submission.
They don’t make the government process visa, arrival card or other travel documents application faster.
What they can do is get a carefully checked application ready for submission sooner, while helping to reduce the risk of preventable mistakes causing additional delays.
What does iVisa processing time actually mean?
There can be two separate timelines involved when applying for a travel document through iVisa:
1. iVisa processing
This is the time we need to check the application. Depending on the product, that can include reviewing the information provided, checking documents, identifying errors or missing information, and getting the application ready for submission to the government.
Our technology helps with these checks, while travel document specialists provide human oversight and support where needed.
Rush and Super Rush prioritize this part of the process. The checks don't disappear. They simply happen sooner.
2. Government processing
Once an application reaches the relevant authority, the government controls what happens next.
iVisa cannot shorten the government's processing time or influence its decision. Some governments may offer their own official expedited processing options, but these are separate from iVisa's Rush and Super Rush services.
This is why the estimated times shown during checkout should be read carefully. Paying for faster iVisa processing does not mean paying for faster government processing.

What is Rush processing?
Rush processing moves an application ahead of Standard applications in iVisa's processing queue.
Our team prioritizes the application so the checks and preparation that happen on our side are completed sooner.
The exact processing time and price depend on the travel document. The available options for each application are shown before payment.
Rush can be useful when there is less time before a trip but the traveler still wants iVisa to review, check, and prepare the application before submission.
What is Super Rush processing?
Super Rush is the fastest iVisa processing option available for eligible products.
The application receives our highest processing priority so that the part of the process controlled by iVisa is completed as quickly as the selected service allows.
That speed applies to iVisa's review, checks, and preparation, not the government's processing period.
If a government normally takes several days to make a decision, choosing Super Rush cannot turn that government timeline into a few hours. What it can do is minimize the time spent on our side before the application reaches that stage.
The additional Rush or Super Rush fee pays for priority handling by iVisa.
Essentially, it means asking us to complete our part of the process sooner than we would under the Standard option, without skipping the checks designed to catch common application problems.
It does not buy a better chance of approval, change the government's requirements, or give iVisa influence over an immigration authority's decision.
Travelers can, of course, apply for many visas and travel documents directly through the relevant government authority. For someone comfortable researching the requirements, completing the application, checking the documents, and managing the process independently, that may be all they need.
iVisa provides another option for travelers who prefer a guided application, checks before submission, tracking, and support when needed. Rush and Super Rush add priority to that service when time matters.
When is Rush processing worth it?
Rush can make sense when a travel date is approaching and reducing the time spent on iVisa's side gives the traveler a more comfortable window before departure.
For example, someone may have realized later than planned that they need a visa or travel authorization, or simply reached the application later than expected.
One iVisa customer, Melina, found herself in exactly that situation. She was transiting through India and said she hadn't realized she would need an Indian eVisa. By the time she discovered the requirement, she needed the document in less than 48 hours.
Melina knew applying directly through the official government website was an option but decided to use iVisa with her departure approaching.
In her Trustpilot review, she says her estimated delivery time was 48 hours and that she received the eVisa within 24. She then checked the application ID on the official Indian government website, where its status appeared as granted.
"It was totally worth it," she wrote, describing the peace of mind she felt once the eVisa arrived as "priceless."
Her experience is a good example of where faster processing can have value. iVisa did not make the Indian government process her application faster. The service helped get her application prepared, checked, and submitted when there was very little time to spare.
The closer a trip gets, however, the more important it becomes to consider the entire expected timeline, including the part controlled by the government.
When is Super Rush worth it?
Super Rush is most useful when time genuinely matters and the document needed has an overall processing timeline that still works with the travel plans.
It may make sense if:
- departure is approaching quickly
- the document requirement was only recently discovered
- the application needs to be reviewed and prepared by iVisa as soon as possible
- the remaining government processing time still leaves a realistic chance of receiving the document before travel
Julie's experience is an unusually urgent example. She says she was already at the airport and unable to board when she chose faster processing.
For her, every minute mattered.
Most travelers won't find themselves in that position. If a trip is still weeks or months away and Standard processing gives plenty of time, there may be little reason to pay more for priority.
Applying early is usually the simplest and most economical option.
Does Super Rush guarantee that I'll get my document before my flight?
No.
We can prioritize the parts of the application process that iVisa controls. We cannot guarantee a government's decision or processing speed.
Julie's Trustpilot review shows that the overall process can sometimes move very quickly, but her experience is not a guaranteed timeframe for another application.
Government authorities may request additional information, experience delays, or take longer than their typical estimates.

Can iVisa's checks help avoid delays?
They can help reduce the risk of avoidable delays caused by common application mistakes.
Depending on the product, our review can identify missing information, errors in the details provided, or problems with supporting documents before submission.
No review process can prevent every delay. A government may ask for additional information or take longer for reasons unrelated to an application error.
But particularly when time is tight, catching a preventable mistake before submission can avoid losing more time correcting it later.
Rush and Super Rush don't remove those checks in exchange for speed. The application is prioritized, not rushed through unchecked.
Is Rush or Super Rush better for my chances of approval?
Neither option gives preferential treatment from the government.
Choosing Standard, Rush, or Super Rush changes how quickly iVisa handles the application, not the criteria the government uses to assess it.
Our review process is designed to catch common application problems regardless of which processing speed is selected. There is no need to pay for Super Rush to receive a "better" application.
The government ultimately decides whether the application is approved.
Which processing option should I choose?
Start with the travel date and work backwards.
If there is plenty of time, Standard will usually be the most economical choice.
If departure is closer and a faster iVisa turnaround meaningfully improves the timeline, Rush may be worth the additional fee.
If time is extremely limited, Super Rush gives the application the highest iVisa processing priority available for that product, but the remaining government processing time still needs to work with the travel plans.
Rush and Super Rush are about getting iVisa's part done sooner, without skipping the checks that help catch common mistakes before submission.
The government still controls its processing time and final decision. The best option simply depends on how much time is left before the trip.
