India Tourist eVisa
Purpose: The India Tourist eVisa (also called the India e-Tourist Visa) is for travelers visiting India for tourism activities like sightseeing, holidays, and visiting family.
When to apply: It’s recommended to apply at least a week in advance, as processing time is 3-5 working days.
Duration and extensions Depending on the type selected (30 days, 1 year, or 5 years), the visa allows stays of 30 or 90 days per visit and is generally non-extendable.
Entries: The visa is issued as a double entry (30-day visa) or multiple entry (1-year and 5-year visas).
Ports of entry: India e-Tourist visa holders can enter through 31 designated airports (including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Goa, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Cochin) and 5 major seaports (Mumbai, Cochin, Mormugao, Chennai, New Mangalore).
Delivery format: An approved eVisa is electronically linked to your passport, but travelers are advised to carry a printed copy of the approval PDF when entering India.
India e-Arrival Card
Purpose: The India Online Arrival Card is a mandatory pre-arrival form that travelers must complete before entering India by air. It collects personal details, passport information, travel itineraries, and health/security declarations for immigration screening.
When to complete: The online India e-Arrival Card must be completed within 72 hours before arrival in India. With iVisa, you can apply earlier for added convenience.
Validity and use: The Arrival Card is valid for a single entry and is linked to the traveler’s passport and trip details. It does not replace a visa.
Delivery format: Travelers will receive a QR code by email. It is recommended to carry a printed or digital copy to present to immigration authorities when entering India.
India Business eVisa
Purpose: The India e-Business Visa is intended for travelers visiting India for meetings, conferences, trade fairs, establishing industrial or business ventures, or conducting sales and purchase activities. It is not valid for employment or long-term work in India.
When to apply: It's recommended to apply at least a week in advance.
Duration and extensions: The e-Business Visa is generally valid for 1 year from the date of issue, allowing stays of up to 180 days per visit. In most cases, it is non-extendable and non-convertible.
Entries: The visa is issued as a multiple-entry visa within its validity period.
Ports of entry: India e-Business Visa holders can enter through 31 designated airports (including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Goa, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Cochin) and 5 major seaports (Mumbai, Cochin, Mormugao, Chennai, New Mangalore).

Purpose: The India e-Medical Visa is intended for travelers seeking medical treatment in India at recognized and specialized hospitals or treatment centers.
When to apply: It's recommended to apply at least a week before departure, and to get your medical documents ready for the application well in advance (e.g., a hospital letter).
Duration and extensions: The e-Medical Visa is typically valid for 60 days from the date of first entry into India. It allows stays of up to 60 days and is generally non-extendable and non-convertible.
Entries: The visa is issued as a triple-entry visa within its validity period.
Ports of entry: India e-Medical Visa holders can enter through 31 designated airports (including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Goa, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Cochin) and 5 major seaports (Mumbai, Cochin, Mormugao, Chennai, New Mangalore).

India e-Medical Attendant Visa*
The India e-Medical Attendant Visa is issued to individuals accompanying a patient traveling to India for medical treatment under an e-Medical Visa.
It allows family members or attendants to support the patient during their stay at a recognized medical facility. The visa is typically valid for 60 days from the date of first entry and permits up to triple entry, matching the validity of the patient’s e-Medical Visa.

India Visa on Arrival (VoA)*
The India Visa on Arrival (VoA) allows eligible travelers from select countries to obtain a short-term entry permit upon arrival in India, primarily for tourism purposes.
The facility is currently available at designated international airports, including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.
The VoA is typically granted for a stay of up to 60 days, and travelers must meet specific eligibility requirements before departure.

India Transit Visa*
The India Transit Visa is issued to travelers passing through India on their way to a third destination. It is intended for short layovers or brief stays while awaiting onward travel and does not permit tourism or business activities.
The Transit Visa is generally valid for up to 15 days from the date of issue, allowing a stay in India of up to 72 hours per visit.
