How to apply for your Singapore visa with iVisa
Answer a few simple questions to find out whether you need a Singapore eVisa, SG Arrival Card (SGAC), or another visa or document to visit the country. Then, upload your documents, and pay securely.
We’ll guide you through any unclear steps during the application process.
The Singapore visa system is known for being a bit picky – your photo must be the right size, and your passport scan must be clear. Don’t worry – we review your whole application to catch anything that might cause delays.
We’re not the Singaporean government, but we submit your application to them and are here for you along the way if there are any problems.
We’ll email your approved Singapore visa and/or arrival card and let you know how to use it for your trip.
Purpose: The Singapore eVisa (Electronic Visa) is issued to eligible nationals for tourism, business meetings, social visits, or short-term purposes.
Duration and extensions: The Singapore eVisa is typically issued for short-term stays of up to 30 days per entry, depending on your nationality.
However, your final stay duration is determined at the border and recorder on your Short Term Visit Pass - which is sent to upon arrival to the email address provided in the SG Arrival Card submission (required alongside a visa).
Extensions of stay must be requested online through ICA in Singapore and are subject to approval.
Entries: The visa may be issued as either a single- or multiple-entry visa, depending on the travel purpose.
Delivery format: The approved Singapore eVisa is issued electronically in PDF format, which you can save on your phone or print and present upon arrival.
Purpose: The SG Arrival Card (SGAC) is a mandatory electronic arrival declaration required for all travelers entering Singapore, including visa-exempt and visa-required nationals. It is not a visa and does not replace a visa requirement.
When to apply: Travelers must submit the SG Arrival Card online within 3 days (including the day of arrival) before entering Singapore. With iVisa, you can apply even earlier and we'll submit your info as soon as the window opens.
Delivery format: After submission, travelers receive an acknowledgment email containing a confirmation. There is no physical document issued, but travelers should retain the confirmation (digital or printed) for reference.
The Short-Term Visit Pass (STVP) is issued by border control at Singapore checkpoints for tourists, business travelers, and those visiting for medical purposes, even to those with a valid visa.
When you clear border control, an immigration officer issues you an STVP that determines exactly how long you may remain, typically 14 to 30 days (depending on your nationality and circumstances), and your stay remains legal for the duration of that pass even if your entry visa expires in the meantime.
Before arriving, you must submit an SG Arrival Card electronically up to 3 days in advance and provide biometrics (fingerprints, iris, and face scan) at immigration; working or conducting any business without a separate work pass is not permitted under an STVP.
*This document will be sent once you've entered Singapore.
The Student Pass is issued to individuals traveling to Singapore for educational purposes at government-accredited institutions. It remains valid for the entire duration of the course, with both single and multiple entry options available. The length of stay is determined by the visa granted, and extensions can typically be requested in Singapore when renewing the course.
*We currently don't offer this document.

Some visa-required travelers can also use the Visa-Free Transit Facility for stays of less than 96 hours, if eligible — meaning not all visa-required transit passengers necessarily need a full entry visa.
