The Singapore Arrival Card is a mandatory online form for all travelers entering the city-state, including residents and citizens. It replaces the traditional paper customs form and helps speed up the entry process at checkpoints.
Each card is valid for a single entry, with the stay period tied to your visa or passport. Once you leave Singapore, you’ll need to complete a new form before reentering. The Arrival Card cannot be extended.
Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP):
The Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) is available to spouses, parents, stepchildren, and handicapped children of Employment Pass or S Pass holders, as well as individuals granted permanent residence. Its validity is aligned with the sponsoring passport holder, and it allows multiple entries. The stay period follows the visa granted, with renewals processed through the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA).
S Pass:
The S Pass is issued to mid-skilled staff earning below a government-determined threshold. It is valid for up to two years and permits multiple entries. Holders can remain in Singapore for the full validity period, with renewals managed through the Ministry of Manpower (MoM).
Work Permit (WP):
The Work Permit (WP) is intended for semi-skilled migrant workers employed across various sectors. Depending on the sector, it is valid for one to two years and usually grants single-entry access, with the option to renew. The pass covers the full stay period, and extensions are processed via the Ministry of Manpower (MoM).
Miscellaneous Work Pass:
The Miscellaneous Work Pass is for short-term assignments in Singapore, lasting less than 60 days, typically for speakers, journalists, and religious workers. It allows single or multiple entry, with the stay limited to the pass validity. Unlike other permits, it cannot be extended.
Unfortunately, we don’t currently offer this visa*
The Singapore visa policy offers several travel options depending on your nationality, the purpose of your visit, and the length of your intended stay. Nationals of many countries are permitted to enter Singapore visa-free for short visits related to tourism, business, or social purposes, typically receiving a Short-Term Visit Pass on arrival. However, travelers from visa-required countries must apply in advance for an entry visa through an authorized agent, a local contact in Singapore, or the official Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) portal.
Even if an entry visa is granted, it does not guarantee entry; the final decision and duration of stay are determined at the border by immigration officers. All travelers must also complete an SG Arrival Card submission prior to entry.
Singapore offers a variety of longer-stay visas and passes for those coming to work, study, or join family members. The Employment Pass and S Pass cater to foreign professionals and mid-skilled workers, while Work Permits are available for semi-skilled laborers in various industries. Students enrolled in full-time courses at approved Singapore institutions can apply for a Student’s Pass, and eligible family members of citizens, permanent residents, and certain work pass holders may apply for a Long-Term Visit Pass.
Those seeking short-term professional engagements, such as public speakers or journalists, may apply for a Miscellaneous Work Pass.
