Learn More: eArrival Card

Culture and history abound in the Philippines. No wonder the country is so high on everyone’s bucket list! However, before going, you should check the requirements to enter the Philippines. One of these requirements is obtaining the Philippines eArrival Card.

The Philippines government requests that all domestic and foreign nationals present this document before departure or upon arrival in the country. This document helps health authorities track and locate COVID-19 infection hotspots. In the past, this document was known as the Philippines Health Pass.

Below, you’ll find everything you need to know about obtaining the card, how to fill in the application form, and other Philippine government requirements.

What is the Philippines eArrival Card?

All travelers have to present a Philippines eArrival Card upon entry to the country. This document replaces the Philippines Health Pass and is mandatory to get before traveling to the country, regardless of nationality or health status.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines introduced the form to help the health and immigration authorities protect public health and control the spread of COVID-19 within the country. During the application process, you must declare if you have symptoms of COVID-19 or if you've recently been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

Please note that the Philippines eArrival Card is NOT a substitute for a visa. You will still need to apply for a valid Philippine visa to enter the country, if applicable to your nationality. Please check all Philippines visa requirements at your local Philippine embassy or consulate.

Who must get the Philippines eArrival Card?

Each person wishing to enter the Philippines, whether you’re a Philippine citizen or foreign national, must fill out the form to get the Philippines eArrival Card within 72 hours before departure.

Validity of the Philippines eArrival Card

The Philippines Arrival Card is a Single Entry document and is valid for 30 days after arrival after being issued. The application is done 100% online and only takes a few minutes of your time.

Simply fill in the form with your information, such as a valid foreign passport number and health details, and then receive the document via email. If you leave the country and wish to re-enter later, you must apply for this document again.

A Philippine visa determines the length of your stay in the Philippines. The Philippines Arrival Card doesn’t replace the tourist visa. If you’re not sure what the validity of your visa is, check your information with a consular officer at the Philippine consulate or embassy.

Try again and apply for the Philippines eArrival Card with iVisa.

According to the Philippines authorities, you must get a new QR code for every future trip to the country. The Republic Act 10173, or the Data Privacy Act, demands that all sensitive information be deleted from the eArrival Card database after completing the process.

In other words, once you use the QR code to enter the Philippines, it will be erased, and you need to apply again for the next trip.

You can still complete the online form for the eArrival Card at the airport. However, it may take more time as you will need to get into a specific queue to submit the card. If possible, get your travel document before arrival with iVisa in order to speed up the immigration process and save time.
iVisa sends a confirmation email after your payment has gone through. In addition, when applying, you’ll automatically be provided with an iVisa account. You can check your application status through the iVisa account at any time. Simply log in, create your new password, and check all your applications in one overview.
At iVisa, we understand that your time is valuable, and we strive to provide you with the fastest service possible. Our processing times are estimated based on the average duration it takes governments to process visa applications. These estimated times begin from the moment we receive all the correct information for your application until you receive your visa. While we work diligently to expedite the process, it’s important to note that we are reliant on the processing times set by the government authorities.
