Filipino visa policy for French citizens

French citizens do not need a visa for short-term tourism or business trips to Singapore, allowing for stays of up to 90 days. However, all travelers must complete the electronic SG Arrival Card (SGAC) with a health declaration within 3 days before arriving in Singapore.

iVisa offers one Singapore entry document for French travelers:

SG Arrival Card (SGAC): A mandatory digital travel system for all inbound travelers. You must register within 72 hours of arrival to receive a QR code that replaces the paper arrival and health declaration cards.

General Singapore entry requirements for French travelers are:

  • French passport valid for at least six months beyond the intended departure date
  • Confirmed return or onward flight ticket to the country of origin or next destination
  • Completed SG Arrival Card
  • Evidence of sufficient financial funds for the duration of the stay
  • Proof of accommodation (hotel booking or residential address)
  • Other supporting documents, depending on purpose/situation (e.g., business invitation letter)

Frequently asked questions about getting the Philippines visa with a France passport

No. French citizens can enter Singapore visa-free for tourism or business for up to 90 days.

Upon arrival, you’ll receive an entry stamp in your passport. You must ensure your French passport is valid for at least six months beyond your stay and that you have a confirmed onward or return ticket. You’ll also need to complete the SG Arrival Card online, within 72 hours before departure.

French citizens can extend their short-term stay in Singapore, typically for an additional 30 days, by applying for a Short-Term Visit Pass (STVP) extension online via the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) e-Service. Applications should be submitted when the current pass has 14 days or less remaining.

Overstaying in Singapore is a serious offense under the Immigration Act, resulting in penalties such as fines, mandatory imprisonment, caning, and deportation.
