What is the UK ETA visa?

Who must Apply

Visa excempt

If you possess a British or Irish passport, a valid visa to enter the UK, or have the legal right to reside, work, or study in the UK, you will not require an ETA. Moreover, if you are legally residing in Ireland and do not require a visa to visit the UK, entering the UK from Ireland, Guernsey, Jersey, or the Isle of Man does not require an ETA.
