Purpose: The Dominican Republic eTicket combines the immigration, customs, and health declaration into a single digital document. It is not a visa, but a required document for most visitors for entering and exiting the country.

When to apply: Travelers must complete the eTicket online within 7 days before travel. With iVisa, you can apply even earlier. We'll submit your information as soon as the window opens.

Delivery format: After completing the online form, travelers receive a QR-code confirmation that must be presented, either digitally or in print, to airline staff and immigration authorities upon arrival and departure.

The Dominican Republic allows visa-free entry to citizens of many countries, such as the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, EU countries, Australia, and most countries in Latin America, for tourism and business stays of up to 30 days.

Travelers from countries that are not eligible for visa-free entry must obtain a visa prior to travel through a Dominican embassy or consulate. The Dominican Republic does not generally offer a Visa on Arrival.

All travelers entering or departing the Dominican Republic are required to complete the mandatory electronic eTicket form (a digital immigration, customs, and health declarations form in one) online prior to travel.

General Dominican Republic visa requirements are:
