Purpose: The Papua New Guinea eVisa (also called the Easy Visitor Permit) is for travelers visiting Papua New Guinea for tourism activities like sightseeing, holidays, and visiting family.

When to apply: It’s recommended to apply at least 3 weeks in advance. It typically takes 10 working days to process when everything is in order.

Duration and extensions Depending on your nationality, you may apply for the 30 or the 60-day Papua New Guinea eVisa. Generally, extensions are not allowed.

Entries: The visa is issued as a single-entry document

Ports of entry: You can use the Papua New Guinea eVisa to enter through all major international airports or recognized border crossings.

Delivery format: You’ll receive the approved eVisa by email, as a PDF, which you must print and present on arrival.
