Need more flexibility or not eligible for ETA/eVisitor? The Visitor Visa is Australia’s standard option for travelers worldwide. It suits holidays, family visits, or short business travel, and can allow stays of 3, 6, or even 12 months depending on your case.
Requirements:
If you hold an eligible European or UK passport, you can enjoy multiple entries for 12 months and stay up to 3 months each time with the eVisitor Visa perfect for holidays, visiting friends, or business visits.
Requirements:
The ETA is an Australian requirement for eligible travelers to visit for tourism or short business trips.

*We currently don't offer the ETA.
Who's it for? Ideal for students pursuing education in Australia, from primary school to higher education.
Purpose? The Student Visa is an official visa allowing foreign nationals to enter Australia primarily for educational activities, including language courses and vocational training.
Duration of stay Can be valid for up to 5 years but depends on your enrollment.

Australia offers several visa options, some of them electronic: the ETA (subclass 601) and the eVisitor (subclass 651). Both are usually multiple-entry and let you stay up to 3 months per visit over a 12-month validity window, as long as you’re travelling for tourism, visiting family/friends, or limited business activities (like meetings or conferences - no paid work). Which one you can use depends on your passport; many European passports (including UK) are eligible for eVisitor, while some other countries use ETA, which has a small app service fee.
If your nationality isn’t on the ETA/eVisitor lists, or you want a longer or more flexible stay, you’d apply for the Visitor visa (subclass 600) instead. This can allow 3, 6, or sometimes 12 months, and is also the fallback for travelers with more complex situations.
Whatever visa you hold, Australia applies a “genuine visitor” test: you may be asked to show a return/onward ticket, proof of funds, and accommodation plans. Visitor visas don’t allow work in Australia.
Australia is serious about biosecurity. You must declare foods, plant items, animal products, and even muddy hiking boots; fines for non-declaration can be hefty. Passport validity should cover your whole stay, and you’ll need to meet standard health and character requirements.
Applying for a visa on your own can be confusing and time-consuming. iVisa simplifies the process, reduces errors, and gives you peace of mind
Travelers who need other visas or may require an embassy visit or health check should apply at least three months in advance.
In the meantime, you can download the iVisa app to access your travel documents while you're on the go.
