The Ivory Coast visa system is known for being difficult to navigate – your photo must be the right size, and your passport scan must be clear.
Don’t worry—we review your entire application to catch anything that might cause delays. Your application will be assigned to one of our experts, who will check for errors or missing information to make sure it’s ready to go. This review is quick but thorough.
We’re not the Ivorian government, but we submit your application to them and are here for you along the way if there are any problems.
We’ll email your approved eVisa and let you know how to use it for your trip.
The Ivory Coast eVisa is an electronic travel document for both tourism and business purposes. You’ll collect the printed visa on arrival at Abidjan Port Bouet Airport.
It’s valid for a stay of up to 90 days.
For passengers passing through the Ivory Coast en route, valid for 48 hours from issuance.
*We currently don’t offer this visa, but it’s available through the Ivorian government.
The Ivory Coast visa policy depends on your nationality, the purpose of your visit, and how long you plan to stay. Citizens of ECOWAS member states (such as Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal, Togo, and others) are visa‑exempt and may enter Côte d’Ivoire without a visa for up to 90 days.
All other travelers must obtain a visa either through the eVisa system or from an Ivorian diplomatic mission prior to arrival.
Upon arrival at Abidjan’s Félix Houphouët-Boigny International Airport, travelers must present the pre-enrolment approval and fee receipt, undergo biometric enrolment (fingerprint and photo), and have the visa affixed to their passport instantly.
The eVisa permits a single entry, is valid for a stay of up to three months from the date of issue, and must be applied for at least 48 hours before departure.
Longer-stay visas, including work, study, or residency, are not available through immigration authorities or embassies. Transit visas are issued for stays up to three days and must follow similar pre-enrolment protocols before arrival.
For the most current regulations, including eligibility, fees, and application procedures, please consult the official the Ivorian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
