Singaporean visa policy for Nepalese citizens

Nepalese citizens don't need a visa to travel to Singapore for short stays. Even though no visa is required, all Nepalese travelers must complete the Singapore Arrival Card (SG Arrival Card). This is a mandatory online entry declaration and does not replace a visa for nationalities that require one.

iVisa offers one Singapore entry document for Nepalese travelers:

  • Singapore Arrival Card (SG Arrival Card): A mandatory online arrival declaration that Nepalese citizens must submit within 3 days before arrival. After entry, travelers receive an Electronic Visit Pass (e-Pass) by email showing the permitted length of stay.

General Singapore entry requirements for Nepalese travelers are:

  • Nepalese passport valid for at least 6 months
  • Completed SG Arrival Card
  • Proof of onward or return travel
  • Evidence of sufficient funds
  • Yellow fever vaccination certificate (if arriving from a risk country)
  • Other supporting documents depending on purpose or situation

FAQs

No, Nepalese citizens generally do not require a visa for short-term tourist visits to Singapore (up to 30 days). Instead, you must complete an SG Arrival Card (SGAC) within 3 days of arrival and meet entry requirements, such as holding a valid passport, return tickets, and sufficient funds.

Government processing usually takes up to 3 working days. With iVisa, Nepali citizens can receive their Singapore visa support in as little as 1 day.

Nepali citizens can stay in Singapore for up to 30 days.

Yes. All Nepalese citizens must submit the SG Arrival Card online within 3 days before arrival. This is not a visa, but a mandatory entry declaration that includes health and travel information. Failure to submit it may delay immigration clearance.

Singapore no longer issues physical passport stamps. After clearing immigration, Nepalese travelers receive an electronic Visit Pass (e-Pass) by email, which shows their permitted length of stay. It is recommended to save a printout of this e-Pass for reference during your stay.

In some cases, Nepalese visitors may apply to the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) for an extension of their short-term Visit Pass before it expires. Extensions are not guaranteed and depend on travel history, purpose of stay, and compliance with entry conditions.
