Purpose: Namibia’s VOA is an entry permit for eligible travelers to enter for a specific purpose, usually tourism/holiday, business, or other short-term visits.

When to apply: It’s recommended to apply at least a week in advance and online applications are typically processed within 5 working days.

Duration and extensions The Namibia VOA is valid for 90 days from the date of issue, and the entry permit granted at the port of entry depends on the period requested, not exceeding 90 days in a calendar year.

The VOA can be extended, but you must apply before your current permission expires, and overall stays are capped at not exceeding 90 days in a calendar year
