Before this exemption, nationals of both countries needed to apply for an ASAN eVisa through Azerbaijan’s official portal at evisa.gov.az. That process cost $20, took up to three working days for standard processing (or three hours for urgent requests), and granted a single-entry stay of up to 30 days. The new arrangement removes both the fee and the application step entirely, allowing qualifying travelers to clear immigration without prior online approval.

Do I need a visa to visit Azerbaijan?
