Dominican Republic eTicket

Purpose: The Dominican Republic e-Ticket combines the immigration, customs, and health declaration into a single digital document. It is not a visa.

When to apply: Travelers must complete the e-Ticket online within 72 hours before travel. With iVisa, you can apply even earlier.

Ports of entry: The e-Ticket is required for entry and exit through all official ports of entry, including major international airports such as Punta Cana International Airport, Las Américas International Airport (Santo Domingo), Cibao International Airport (Santiago), Puerto Plata International Airport, and seaports.

Delivery format: After completing the online form, travelers receive a QR code confirmation that must be presented, either digitally or in print, to airline staff and immigration authorities upon arrival and departure.

The Dominican Republic tourist visa is intended for leisure travel, cultural experiences, and short-term participation in business events such as conferences or festivals.

The Dominican Republic allows visa-free entry to citizens of many countries, such as the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, European Union member states, Australia, and most countries in Latin America, for tourism stays of up to 30 days.

Travelers from countries not eligible for visa-free entry must obtain a visa prior to travel through a Dominican embassy or consulate. The Dominican Republic does not generally offer a Visa on Arrival.

All travelers entering or departing the Dominican Republic are required to complete the mandatory electronic e-Ticket form online prior to travel.
