The Kyrgyzstan visa system is known for being difficult to navigate – your photo must be the right size, and your passport scan must be clear.
Don’t worry – we review your whole application to catch anything that might cause delays. One of our experts checks everything for errors or missing information to make sure it’s ready to go. This review is quick but thorough.
We’re not the Kyrgyzstan government, but we submit your application to them and are here for you along the way if there are any problems.

💡Pro-tip: Foreign nationals entering Kyrgyzstan on a Tourist eVisa can only do so through designated border crossings. Check before traveling to eliminate delays.

Kyrgyzstan’s visa policy provides a mix of visa-free access, electronic visas, and traditional consular visas, depending on the traveler's nationality, purpose of visit, and intended duration of stay. Citizens of more than 60 countries can enter Kyrgyzstan visa-free for periods ranging from 30 to 90 days.
Travelers who are not visa-exempt can apply for a Kyrgyz Tourist eVisa, which is available entirely online. The Sapar Visa (Type J) is the most common eVisa for tourism, business, or personal visits. It is typically valid for up to 90 days and has single or multiple entry options.
Transit visas are also available for travelers passing through Kyrgyzstan en route to a third country, with stays of up to five days.
For long-term stays, specialized activities, or employment, travelers must apply for traditional sticker visas or permits.
Ethnic Kyrgyz born abroad may qualify for a Meken Visa (Type M), offering longer stays and a potential pathway to permanent residency.
Certain travelers, such as digital nomads, journalists, or NGO staff, may be eligible for specialized visa types like the Digital Nomad Visa (DN) or Special Work Visa (SW).
To ensure compliance with the latest regulations and document requirements, travelers should always consult the official eVisa portal and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan prior to travel.
