Uzbekistan visa policy

Uzbekistan offers several visa options depending on your nationality and purpose of travel. Citizens of select countries can enter visa-free for up to 30 days. Others can apply online for a 30-day eVisa as a single or multiple-entry document.

If you have prior approval, a visa on arrival may be available at Uzbek airports. Travelers not eligible for visa-free entry or the eVisa must apply for a visa through a local embassy or consulate. This includes tourist, business, medical, work, and study visas.

Your passport must be valid for at least six months from your arrival date. Most visitors must also register their stay with immigration authorities within three days of arrival.

Special visas are available for diplomats, investors, journalists, students, and official delegations. Always check current requirements with the Uzbekistan government before you apply.
