Purpose: The Uzbekistan eVisa is an electronic visa issued to eligible foreign nationals traveling to Uzbekistan for tourism, business, or transit purposes.
Duration and extensions: The Uzbekistan eVisa is typically issued for a stay of up to 30 days and is valid for entry within 90 days from the date of issuance. Extensions are generally not granted.
Entries: The eVisa may be issued as a single-entry, double-entry, or multiple-entry visa, depending on the applicant’s selection and travel purpose.
Ports of entry: Uzbekistan eVisa holders may enter through designated international airports and land border checkpoints approved by Uzbek authorities, including Tashkent International Airport and major land crossings.
Delivery format: Once approved, the Uzbekistan eVisa is issued electronically as a PDF document sent via email. Travelers must print a copy and present it along with their valid passport upon arrival in Uzbekistan.
The Tourist Visa (Type T) is for tourists from nationalities not eligible for the eVisa or those traveling in organized groups. A standard single-entry visa is valid for up to 30 days, while group versions (Type TG) require a minimum of 5 travelers. You must obtain this before travel through an Uzbek diplomatic mission.

This is for corporate professionals, international delegates, and business representatives visiting for temporary meetings or commercial negotiations. A single-entry visa is valid for up to 3 months, while a multiple-entry business visa can be valid for up to 1 year. You must obtain this before traveling from an embassy or consulate with an invite from a legal entity in Uzbekistan.

This is for foreign investors and stateless persons who make large-scale capital contributions to the national economy. A multiple-entry visa is valid for up to 3 years and can be extended inside the country without exiting. You must obtain this before travel or adjust your status locally after making a verified investment equivalent to at least 8,500 times the basic estimated value.

This is for foreign pilgrims and researchers traveling to discover the country’s rich spiritual, religious, and historical heritage. A single-entry visa is valid for a maximum stay of 2 months. You must obtain this before travel through an embassy following a specialized application submitted by authorized tourism entities and the Committee on Religious Affairs.

Uzbekistan allows visa-free entry for citizens of several countries, but the length of stay varies by nationality. For example, citizens of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Russia, and Ukraine may enter visa-free (unlimited duration), while citizens of many other countries — including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and many EU countries — may enter visa-free for up to 30 days.
Travelers who are not visa-exempt must obtain a visa in advance, either through an Uzbek embassy/consulate or via the official eVisa system.
