It is valid for one single entry only, which means that, as long as it is required, you will have to apply for another Panama Electronic Affidavit each time you plan to enter Panama.
Do I need a Panama Electronic Affidavit to transit through Panama?
Not all tourist visitors will have to fill out the Panama Electronic Affidavit to enter the country. Passengers in transit are not required to present it, as they do not pass through immigration. However, if, for some reason, you have to leave the airport, you will have to request this document and present it.
When should I apply for the Panama Electronic Affidavit?

Do minors need a Panama Electronic Affidavit?
Yes, all visitors must obtain the Panama Electronic Affidavit and present the QR Code generated when they enter the country. It will be the responsibility of the parent or person in charge of minors to complete the Panama Electronic Affidavit for children or persons with disabilities who are unable to complete it on their own.
At the time of crossing immigration, the parents must be with the minors and present all travel documents.
COVID-19 requirements or restrictions
Do I need to take a COVID-19 test before traveling to Panama?
All non-vaccinated travelers must present a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test result taken less than 72 hours before travel, upon entry into the country.
Travelers with full proof of vaccination, completed at least two weeks prior to travel, and children under 17 years of age accompanied by a fully vaccinated adult will not be required to present any negative COVID-19 test.
Do I need a COVID-19 vaccine or vaccination certificate to enter Panama? - Immigration authorities' procedures
No! According to local authorities, there are no vaccine requirements to enter Panama, so it does not matter about your vaccination status to enter.
However, suppose you hold a Covid-19 vaccination certificate. In that case, you will not need to present a negative PCR test result or follow a quarantine to enter the country or visit beautiful Panama City.
Travelers will be considered fully vaccinated two weeks after receiving three doses of a licensed vaccine or two doses of the Johnson & Johnson Janssen vaccine. If travelers do not meet these requirements, they are considered partially vaccinated travelers.
However, as information can change rapidly, we advise you to check for the latest updates days before your scheduled trip.
Do I need to quarantine when I get to Panama?
According to local authorities, the country does not have any quarantine rules for foreign or national travelers. Quarantine is no longer one of the entry and exit requirements.
