The Sint Maarten visa system is known for being a bit picky – your photo must be the right size, and your passport scan must be clear.
Don’t worry – we review your whole application to catch anything that might cause delays. One of our experts checks everything for errors or missing information to make sure it’s ready to go. This review is quick but thorough.
We’re not the Sint Maarten government, but we submit your application to them and are here for you along the way if there are any problems.
We’ll email your completed ED Card and let you know how to use it for your trip.
Purpose: The Sint Maarten Electronic Disembarkation (ED) Card is a mandatory pre-arrival travel registration required for travelers entering Sint Maarten by air for tourism or short stays.
When to apply: The ED Card must be completed before departure. You can apply in advance to avoid last-minute issues before boarding.
Processing time: Most applications are processed quickly, but travelers should apply before travel to ensure approval in time.
Duration and extensions: The ED Card is linked to your specific trip and is valid for a single entry.
Entries: Single entry.
Delivery format: This is a digital document sent by email. You must present it, either printed or on your mobile device, upon arrival.
Purpose: The Netherlands Schengen Visa is a short-stay visa that allows eligible non-EU nationals to travel to the Netherlands and other Schengen countries for purposes such as tourism, business, visiting family, or transit. When to apply: It’s recommended to apply at least 6 months in advance.
Duration and extensions: Valid for up to 90 days within any 180-day period for tourism or short visits. You can stay in the entire Schengen Area for a total of 90 days per 180-day period.
Entries: The visa is issued as a single-entry or multiple-entry.
Ports of entry: You must apply for your visa at the embassy/consulate of the country that is your main destination, this is where you will stay the longest or where the main purpose of your trip lies. Once you have a valid Schengen Visa (issued by the Netherlands or any Schengen state), you may enter the Schengen Area through any Schengen country at your first port of entry.
Delivery format: Schengen visas are issued as a uniform visa sticker (vignette) affixed in your passport.
Applying for a visa on your own can be confusing and time-consuming. iVisa simplifies the process, reduces errors, and gives you peace of mind
