Get the Suriname Entry Fee with iVisa!

There are many destinations to choose from if you are looking for natural attractions, diverse species, and rich culture in South America.

Suriname is definitely one of the options, offering many attractions for tourists. It is a small territory with tropical rainforest, Dutch colonial history, and great ethnic diversity. It’s a destination for an unforgettable vacation!

But, before packing, you must apply for the Suriname Entry Fee. This is not a Suriname visa or e-Visa, but those with a valid visa are exempt from the fee payment.

It’s classed as an international travel document required to enter Suriname. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs implanted this Entry Fee in July 2022, and since then, everyone who wants to visit Suriname for tourism purposes has to apply before departure.

What is Suriname Entry Fee?

As of July 01, 2022, travelers must present the Suriname Entry Fee on arrival in Suriname. It’s a fee that passengers have to pay to have access to the country for tourism and business activities via the Johan Adolf Pengel airport, French Guiana, or Guyana borders.

The good news is that you don’t have to wait in the embassy lines to apply, as you would with a consular visa. You can apply in advance online, in the comfort of your home or office.

In a few minutes, you can complete the form with all travel documents required, and then you’ll receive the Fee Voucher via email. You must print it out to present to the immigration officers on arrival.
