There are remains of cannons that belonged to the British army, who used to fight against pirates who invaded these lands searching for gold or other precious metals. The French Empire was also interested in conquering Trinidad and Tobago and annexing these lands to their overseas territories. That is why the British built Fort King George for that purpose.

As you can see, Trinidad and Tobago can be considered heaven on Earth due to its stunning landscapes and jaw-dropping views during the perfect sunset on the beach. However, the current Coronavirus outbreak has been a health problem within Trinidad and Tobago. That is why the current government implemented the Trinidad & Tobago Travel Pass. It must be filled out at least 72 hours prior to their departure from the country. Otherwise, their access would be denied by immigration agents. How would you describe your vacation goals in the Caribbean? If you would love to relax on the beach while floating on the sea, you have to go to Pigeon Point Beach. It is private land, but you can access it by paying a small fee: 4 USD. It is located on the island of Tobago, and it has become famous over time due to the different places that tourists usually go when staying on the beach: bars, restaurants, and places to rent chairs. In addition, due to the crystal waters, you will be able to practice snorkeling or even scuba diving.

However, if you don’t like paying money to visit a beach, you can also visit Paria Bay. Travelers usually consider it the perfect place to view a stunning sunset with the beautiful scenarios you will find there. Another beach might be Playa Maracas. You can enjoy the most delicious seafood here.

Another place that is perfect for snorkeling is Buccoo Reef. It is also located in Tobago, and this exact point is the home to hundreds of tropical fishes, corals, and other aquatic animals. You will have an unforgettable experience when visiting this place. Visit Buccoo Reef with natives or any other professional who will guide you while you snorkel. However, you can visit it and take some pictures of this wonderful building inside, where you will see ostentatious features such as stained glass windows and wooden furnishings.

Did you know that most of the lands in this country are still preserved and undiscovered? It means virgin jungles still surround it, and it is home to hundreds of species living in those spaces. It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, so it is the perfect place to hike and bird-watch.
