Armenia’s visa system is designed to accommodate short-term visits, long stays, and long-term immigration based on nationality and purpose of visit.
Travelers from more than 45 countries, including most CIS nations, the EU, UAE, and several Asian countries, can enter Armenia visa-free for up to 180 days per calendar year.
If you’re not visa-exempt, you may be eligible for the Armenia eVisa. This fast, online application offers two stay durations: 21 days or 120 days, depending on your nationality. The eVisa is valid for a single entry and is used for tourism, business, or short visits.
For longer stays, employment, or full-time study, travelers must apply for an embassy-issued visa or residence permit. These applications require more documentation and take longer to process.
You must enter through an authorized entry point, most commonly Zvartnots International Airport or Shirak Airport. Your passport must be valid for at least six months after your arrival.
Overstaying your visa without proper authorization may lead to fines, deportation, or entry bans.
Applying for a visa on your own can be confusing and time-consuming. iVisa simplifies the process, reduces errors, and gives you peace of mind

The 21-day eVisa is meant for short trips, like a holiday, short conference, or attending an event.
The 120-day visa is for longer travel, such as extended tourism, short-term study, or health treatments.
Some nationalities only qualify for one or the other — we’ll automatically show the correct option for you during the application.
For other visas, you’ll need to complete the application process on the government platform, pay the visa fee, and in some cases, schedule an interview at an Armenian embassy or consulate.
Supporting documents like your passport, photo, and purpose of travel are required.
We strongly recommend applying for an extension if needed, or leaving before your authorized stay ends.
We then send it to the government for processing on your behalf.
Once your visa is approved, we’ll then email you your document.
