Yes, you still need it. Even if you already have a physical or electronic visa (like a tourist, business, or student visa) to enter Honduras, the Traveler Declaration is a separate entry requirement. A visa gives you permission to enter the country, but the Traveler Declaration (specifically the Electronic Customs Declaration) is a mandatory security and customs protocol for everyone crossing the border.

As of December 12, 2023, the Honduran government removed the mandatory Pre-check for most nationalities. Currently, it is only mandatory for Nicaraguan citizens, who must complete it at least 7 days before travel.
