Purpose: The Honduras Pre-Check Application is an online pre-arrival registration required for travelers entering Honduras. It allows authorities to collect travel and health information before arrival.

When to apply: The form must be completed before departure. We recommend submitting it at least a few days before travel.

Processing time: Most submissions are processed quickly, and confirmation is typically issued shortly after completion.

Duration and extensions: The Pre-Check Application is linked to your specific trip and is valid for a single entry.

Entries: Single entry.

Delivery format: This is a digital confirmation sent by email. Travelers must present it, either printed or on a mobile device, upon arrival.

Honduras Tourist Visa*

The Honduras Tourist Visa is required for certain nationalities who are not visa-exempt and wish to visit Honduras for tourism or family visits. It is generally issued for short stays and must be obtained through a Honduran embassy or consulate before travel.

Visa requirements depend on your nationality. Many travelers can enter Honduras visa-free for short tourism or business stays, while others must apply for a visa in advance through a Honduran embassy or consulate. Honduras does not issue eVisas.
Honduras is part of the Central America-4 (CA-4) Agreement with Guatemala, El Salvador, and Nicaragua. If you require a visa, a valid visa issued by one CA-4 country generally allows travel within the other CA-4 countries. However, your total stay across all four countries combined must not exceed the permitted limit.
If you need more time, you must apply for an extension through the Honduran National Institute of Migration before your authorized stay expires. Overstaying without approval may result in fines that must be paid before departure.
Short business visits may be permitted under visa-free entry for eligible nationalities. If your nationality requires a visa, you must apply for the appropriate visa category before travel. Employment-related activities require proper authorization in advance.
