      For individuals visiting Kuwait for leisure, sightseeing, and short visits. Available to eligible nationalities under the Kuwait e-Visa programme. The reason for your trip must be tourism.

Stay period: Visitors with the eVisa may only stay in the country for 90 days.

Specified nationalities arriving in Kuwait by airplane can get a Kuwait Visa on Arrival. It's valid for 90 days from the date of issue, and travelers can stay in Kuwait for up to 90 days.

For travellers transiting Kuwait (air or land) to a third destination. Eligibility depends on nationality and travel route. Valid for 7 days from the date of issuance, single-entry only.

      The Kuwait visa policy includes a range of options depending on your nationality, the purpose of your visit, and the length of your stay. Citizens of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries – Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates – can enter Kuwait without a visa using their national ID cards and stay without restriction.
Nationals from eligible countries can travel to Kuwait for up to 90 days for tourism by applying online for an eVisa. In many cases, travelers from these countries may also obtain a visa on arrival when entering Kuwait by air.
Citizens of non-eligible countries must apply in advance for a Kuwait visit visa through a Kuwaiti sponsor.
Kuwait also offers a variety of work and residency visas, including the Work Visa and Student Visa. These visas require employer/university sponsorship and are subject to regulations.
