Get your Oman visa

The Oman eVisa for GCC residents is designed for residents of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries who wish to visit Oman for tourism, family visits, or short business trips.

With this visa, you can:

• 🕌 Discover Oman’s mountains, beaches, and historic sites
• 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Visit family or friends living in Oman
• 🎟️ Attend conferences, business meetings, or cultural events

This visa does not allow employment or long-term study in Oman. For work or study programs, you will need to apply for a different visa directly through the ROP or the Ministry of Labour.

The Oman eVisa for GCC residents is typically valid for 30 days from the date of entry and allows a single entry into Oman. Extensions may be possible for an additional 30 days, depending on the traveler’s circumstances.

To apply for this eVisa, you will need:

• 🛂 A passport valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date
• 📸 A recent passport photo (white background recommended)
• 📝 Basic personal and travel details
• 🏷️ Proof of valid GCC residency (with a profession eligible for entry)
• 💳 Payment for the visa fee and iVisa service fee

Purpose: Tourism, family visits, business meetings, short-term work visits, attending conferences, or meeting with Omani companies

Validity: Up to 30 days

Entries: Single

Extension: Can often be extended for an additional 30 days upon sponsor request through the ROP

Additional info: Sponsor must provide supporting documents, including an invitation letter, accommodation details, and sponsor ID

Extension: Renewable if the sponsor’s residence/work permit remains valid and eligibility continues
