Malaysia visa requirements for Dutch citizens

Dutch citizens do not need a visa for short visits to Malaysia. You can enter visa-free and stay for up to 90 days for tourism, business meetings, or social visits, and you'll be granted a Short Term Social Visit Pass on arrival. Travel for work, study, residence, or stays longer than 90 days requires an appropriate long-term visa arranged before departure.

iVisa offers one mandatory Malaysian entry document for Dutch travelers:

  • Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC): A required digital arrival declaration that Dutch passport holders must complete within 3 days before arrival. The MDAC is mandatory for entry, but does not replace a visa where one is required.

General Malaysian entry requirements for Dutch travelers are:

  • Dutch passport valid for at least six months
  • Completed Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC)
  • Confirmed return or onward ticket
  • Proof of accommodation in Malaysia
  • Evidence of sufficient funds
  • Other supporting documents, depending on purpose or situation
