  • I asked for a refund as a Visa was not required for Mauritius and you didn't reply. I have asked my provider to take action against your company to get my money back.

  • At no stage after connecting to the site was I told that British passport holders do not need a visa for Mauritius. At no stage was I told that the electronic entry form is downloadable from a Mauritius govt site, and much more importantly, at no stage was I told that these entry forms and entry was FREE ie, that the Mauritian authorities make NO CHARGE for filling in an electronic form. I was scammed to the tune of £126 for a service which is freely available. My huge mistake was clicking in to the first website for Safe Mauritius which is not the govt website but the website of profiteering unscrupulous people who are only interested in trying to steal money from (maybe naive) travellers.

Mauritius visa FAQs

What travelers commonly ask about Mauritius visas.

Still have questions?

Our visa experts are available 24/7 on chat, email, and WhatsApp.

Is the Mauritius Travel Digital Form the same as a Mauritius visa?

No. The Mauritius All-in-One Travel Digital Form is a mandatory entry document for all travelers, regardless of visa status. While many nationalities are visa-exempt or get a visa on arrival, everyone must complete this digital form before landing.

How long can I stay in Mauritius on a tourist visa?

Visa-exempt tourists can stay for a cumulative maximum of 180 days per calendar year. For business visits, the limit is 120 days per year. If you're granted a shorter stay upon arrival (usually 60 days), you can apply for an extension at the Passport and Immigration Office in Port Louis.

When is the earliest I can fill out the Mauritius Digital Travel Form?

You can only submit the form 15 days before your arrival date. This ensures your health and travel information is current. Once submitted, you'll receive a PDF with a QR code via email, which you must show to health and immigration officers at the airport.

Do I need to print the Mauritius Digital Travel Form?

Yes. While you can show the QR code on your mobile device, we recommend carrying a printed copy of the PDF. Technical glitches with airport Wi-Fi or a dead battery can delay your processing. Having a physical backup ensures you can clear health and immigration checkpoints without issue.

Do children need their own Mauritius Travel Digital Form?

Yes. Every traveler, including infants and minors, must have their own individual form. For children under 18, parents or guardians must also be aware that Mauritius has strict rules regarding unabridged birth certificates and parental consent letters if only one parent is traveling.

What happens if my Mauritius Travel Digital Form application is rejected?

Your application can be rejected because of a mismatch with your flight or passport details. If you don't receive a QR code, you must resubmit the form with corrected info. If you arrive without it, you'll be forced to fill out a manual paper disembarkation card, which can cause significant delays at the border.
