Purpose: The Togo eVisa is an electronic visa issued to eligible foreign nationals traveling to Togo for tourism, business, or transit purposes. For your convenience, the eVisa application process through iVisa also includes the Togo Traveler Declaration Form, a mandatory immigration form.
When to apply: You can apply anytime before departure with iVisa. The declaration form must be submitted within 72 hours before departure, but with iVisa you can apply even earlier.
Duration and extensions: The Togo eVisa is typically issued for stays of up to 30 days per entry. Extensions may be requested from Togolese immigration authorities while in Togo.
Entries: The Togo eVisa is generally issued as a single-entry visa.
Ports of entry: Togo eVisa holders may enter through Gnassingbé Eyadéma International Airport (Lomé) and designated land border crossings.
Delivery format: Once approved, the Togo eVisa is issued electronically as a PDF document sent via email. You also get a QR-code as proof of submitting the traveler declaration. Travelers must present it upon arrival, along with their valid passport and proof of yellow fever vaccination.
The Transit Visa is issued to passengers passing through Togo en route to another destination. Validity and stay periods are determined on a case-by-case basis, with the visa issued for single entry only.
Extensions are not possible. Upon arrival, travelers must present a valid passport and an international certificate of vaccination against yellow fever.
