Back to Turkey visa
  • On the afternoon of the day before my morning departure for Istanbul (from Italy), I checked to see if US citizens need a visa to enter the country and to my surprise they do! Found iVisa online and quite easily filled in the required info and then on to payment. As I was traveling in less than 24 hours I clicked the "within 2 hours" option (functioning 24/7) to which I was prompted with a, we are not sure we can provide you with a visa in the time allowed, so I opted for the super fast service, which once again said they were not sure to be able to guarantee the visa. Slight panic set in and went elsewhere (for security), paying $20 and received it instantly. Just a few minutes later I also received theirs ... having thrown away €75.00. Thanks for the rip-off iVisa!

  • I tried to buy the 2-hour visa, but your system said I couldn't even that I was not travelling for another 20 hours. It recommended that I get the more expensive 30 min visa. I contacted your customer services and I was told that there most might be government problems so to make sure I get my visa in time I should pay the higher price. My visa was approved in 5 minutes with no problems. I feel that this was a scam just make more money. I bet if I chose the 2-hour visa it would have been approved in a few minutes as well. I will be sure to write about how you scam people on your website on forums.

  • I filled in the visa application form correctly as per my passport details, however the visa was not correctly completed using this information ie my last name was used instead of my middle name. When i raised this with the help team they were not particularly helpful about resolving this issue. So I had to reorder the visa and pay twice (did this directly with the turkey e-visa website to avoid another mistake).

  • Too bad, I filled some wrong information by mistake but now not able to make changes. Also I filled info on resident permit but on visa it is showing different but no one is responding.

  • I got ripped off in terms of fees. Being new I thought this is an official site for visa to Turkey. ivisa charged me 120 australian dollars (90 for visa and 30 for service). - Turkish consulate recorded message in Sydney says visa fee is 45 euros or 60 US dollars. This amounts to 85 Aussie dollars. Not sure what the service fee is. Turkish embassy website asks for a lot of particulars including phone number, father's name and mother's name. Ivisa online form did not ask for any such detail. I am not even sure if the ivisa tourist visa that I received is legit. Have to follow up with the embassy now. Turkish embassy informed me that they do not charge a service fee. Ivisa replies and claims it is all clear on their webpage - not true. Their web page appears immediately when u google visa to turkey. They have set up their website as seeming to appear as an official site. 30 aussie dollars as service fee is a rip off considering that it is a simple online application with embassy responding. If the Turkish embassy had charged the service fee, I would have happily provided as it would go towards the salary of some one employed by them - but not to an intermediate company like ivisa

  • Cost more than the official site and took a lot longer to get the visa. I would not recommend iVisa. I have been sent an email by iVisa in response to my review however, I still would not recommend iVisa. And - they have put my Nationality as USA on the visa, I am British. It now has to be corrected.

  • Turns out it wasn’t so smooth after all. Thought my biometric details were saved from my previous visa but could not be traced. They should have taken it in the first place. Had to go back.

  • There was a mistake on my visa and by the time they replied to me I was actually already back from my trip to Turkey. I understand the mistake was mine, but waiting 48 hours to tell me and then not only not issuing a new one but making me wait for the reply when I was on a time crunch is just terrible customer service. I will make sure to tell everyone to avoid this site in the future.
