Do Israeli citizens need a Bhutan eVisa?

Yes. If you’re planning a trip to Bhutan from Israel, you will need to first obtain a Bhutan eVisa.

Although acquiring an eVisa might seem like a direct task in today's digital age, there are complexities involved. That's where applying through our website offers immense value.

Instead of wrestling with the specifics yourself, you can tap into our team's broad experience. We scrutinize every facet of your application, aligning it with Bhutan's visa requirements, which in turn raises the likelihood of swift visa approval.

What is the SDF in Bhutan?

Every visitor on a tourist visa to Bhutan is subject to the Sustainable Development Fee (SDF). This daily levy plays a crucial role in driving Bhutan's growth across multiple areas.

The SDF aids in the provision of the following for all Bhutanese: free healthcare and education, sustainability and conservation projects, cultural preservation programs, infrastructure upgrades, youth development programs, and more.

Previously, the SDF was set at US$200 for each night. However, from 1 September 2023, it has been reduced by half to US$100 per traveler for each night. This revised rate will be in effect until 31 August 2027. Furthermore, children aged 6-12 will now only pay US$50, while those under 6 have the SDF waived altogether.
