Learn More: Tourist Visa
Required Documents to Apply
While it may not be a very large country, some people refer Cameroon as being as large as Africa itself. With unrivaled ethnic, climatic, geographic, and religious diversity, every traveler is sure to find a pleasant spot for exploration or relaxation. Hike through the dense rainforests and vast savannah, trek across the mountains, or visit the ocean: take your pick!
As far as the nation's visa policy is concerned, things are quite clear: most visitors will need a visa to enter Cameroon. There are only six visa-exempt countries: Central African Republic, Chad, Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, and Nigeria. Travelers from these states can visit Cameroon without a visa for up to 90 days. The rest of the world is required to apply for a visa, but note that visas on arrival are available only for diplomatic and service passport holders.
Our Visa Checker Tool located in the top right corner of this page helps you locate embassies where you can apply for a visa in-person. All you have to do is select your nationality and put Cameroon as your destination. In seconds the Tool will help find an embassy near you.
We regret to inform you that at this moment, iVisa cannot handle Cameroon visa applications since they do not have an electronic visa program. We do, however, want to provide as much assistance as we can to all travelers, which is why we offer 24/7 support service that is totally free. Give us a call if you have visa-related questions.
As far as the requirements go, we advise all travelers to contact the embassy or diplomatic mission of their destination country. Although lots of info is available online, it should be used as a reference only. The diplomatic mission or the embassy of Cameroon is always the most reliable source of information. Nevertheless, we can give you some facts about the basic requirements. For one thing, you need to have a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended date of arrival in Cameroon. You will also be asked to provide passport-sized photos in the application and even on arrival. Lastly, all travelers who go to Cameroon must be vaccinated against Yellow Fever. A certificate of vaccination is required to board the plane.
Although we cannot currently process your Cameroon visa application, we hope you find the above information helpful.
