How long is the China Tourist Visa valid for Mongolian citizens?

You can choose between three China Tourist Visa validity options:

  • Single-entry China Visa: Valid for 10 years after issued; it allows you to enter China once.

  • Double-entry China Visa: The consular officers can grant a validity between 90-180 days, and you can enter the territory twice.

  • Multiple-entry China Visa: The consular officer can grant you a validity from 180 days to 365 days, and you can enter China multiple times.

Can I get a Chinese Tourist Visa extension?

The Chinese government only permits visa extension for a certain amount of time per entry. So, if you have a 30-day visa, you can extend it for up to 30 more days. Otherwise, you can extend your visa twice, 30 days at a time, if you have a visa that allows a 60-day stay. Check the China Embassy website for further information about extending your visa in China and make sure you do this in plenty of time before visa expiry.

China Tourist Visa requirements for Mongolian travelers

China Tourist Visa passport requirements for Mongolian citizens

  • It must be your original passport.

  • It must remain valid for at least six months after your arrival date.

Chinese visa photo requirements for Mongolian citizens

Ensure your photo for the Chinese visa meets the following requirements:

  • Color photo with a white background, without a frame or edge.

  • Recent photo from the last six months.

  • Photo-size: 48mm x 33mm. The width of the applicant's head can’t exceed 22 mm, and the height can’t exceed 33 mm.

  • You must face the camera with a neutral facial expression, eyes open, lips closed, and ears visible.

  • You can wear glasses as long as they aren’t thick-rimmed, tinted, or glare glasses. Headwear is only allowed for religious reasons, as long as they don’t cover facial features.
