In February 2022, France eased entry restrictions for vaccinated travelers. There are no longer quarantine requirements for travelers with all the required doses.

This Travel Certificate applies for everyone traveling to France by air, and must be acquired in the departure country before travel. How long is the France Travel Certificate valid for?
It is valid for a Single Entry to metropolitan France, this certificate is valid for the entirety of your stay.
If you plan on leaving and re-entering France on your trip, you will need to obtain a new Travel Certificate on each entry to the country.
Do I need a France Travel Certificate if I am in transit?
The France Travel Certificate is only requested if France is your final destination.

Do minors need to apply for the Travel Certificate?
Yes they do, but the parent or guardian of minors should apply for this certificate on their behalf.
COVID-19 Restrictions
Covid 19 Testing:
- Unvaccinated travelers from green list countries** are required to present a negative PCR taken less than 72 hours or antigen test taken less than 48 hours before the flight (12 years or older) or a certificate of recovery older than eleven days and less than six months.
- Unvaccinated travelers from orange list countries can travel for essential reasons only, they need a negative PCR test taken less than 72 hours or an antigen test taken less than 48 hours before the flight.
- COVID test exemptions: Children under 12 and vaccinated travelers with complete vaccination schedule.
Vaccination Status Requirements
Vaccinated travelers must bring valid vaccination certificates of one of the following vaccines approved to enter France:
- 7 days after the second dose for two-shot vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca);
- 28 days after the shot for one-shot vaccines (Johnson & Johnson);
- One week after the shot for vaccines administered to people who have already had COVID-19 (only one dose is necessary);
- One week after a booster ARNm dose (Moderna or Pfizer) after two shots of a WHO licensed vaccine (Sinovac/Coronavac or Sinopharm/BBIB-PVeroCells).
AS WELL AS proof of a booster dose if your second dose was administered more than 270 days before your date of travel. Vaccination status is only deemed complete when the latest dose is administered within the last 270 days.
Do I need to Quarantine when I arrive in France?
- Fully vaccinated travelers, and arrivals from green list countries are not required to self-isolate.
- Non-vaccinated travelers arriving from orange list countries: Are subject to random testing upon arrival. If they test positive, the traveler must self-isolate in accordance with French public health precautions.
