Before visiting Jordan from the Philippines, you must first obtain the correct Jordan Tourist visa to enter the country. Here is everything you need to know about the Jordan Visa.

We don't currently offer the Jordan Tourist Visa for Philippine citizens, so we recommend applying directly with the Ministry of Interior in Jordan.

What is the Jordan visa?

The Jordan visa is an electronic visa that all Philippine passport holders must obtain before arriving in Jordan as a tourist.

How long is the Jordan Tourist Visa valid?

The following validity rules apply:

  • Jordan single-entry visa is valid for 3 months from the date of issue with a duration of stay not to exceed 30 days.

  • Jordan double-entry visa is valid for 3 months from the date of issue with a duration of stay not to exceed 30 days per entry.

  • 5-year, multiple-entry visa is only available to US passport holders.

How can I apply for the Jordan Visa?

To apply for your Jordan tourist visa, complete the basic application steps:

  1. Application: Fill out your personal information and travel details. We recommend that you have your passport and national ID handy, so you can confirm that your details on the form match those in your passport and national ID.

  2. Confirmation: Take a few minutes to check that all the details in your application form are correct. It’s imperative that you do this, as any discrepancies between visa applications and personal documents may result in your visa being rejected.

  3. Payment: Once you’ve confirmed that all your personal and travel information is correct, you’ll be able to upload the supporting documents and pay the visa application processing fee.

One of our visa experts will review your application before processing it. We’ll reach out via email if we find any errors and help you fix them.

If you want to extend your stay in Jordan after you arrive in the country, you can request an extension of your Jordan visa at a local police station. You might need to pay a visa stamping fee.

If you’re interested in working or studying in Jordan, you must reach out to your local Jordan embassy to apply for a different visa. Take your passport with you to the Jordan embassy.

What are the requirements to apply for the visa?

If you want to apply for a Jordan tourist visa, you need to meet the visa requirements by providing these documents:

  • Passport personal details scan—Your passport must be valid for at least six months after your arrival date.
  • Proof of residence.
  • National ID Card.
  • Email address to receive your Jordan visa.
  • A credit or debit card to pay the visa fee.

You will need to ensure that all the words in your documents are legible and that the scans have no glares or smudges that will prevent immigration officers from reading them.

Where can I find more information?
