Important Instructions

The Marshall Islands are located half-way between Hawaii and Australia. They are a group of atolls and reefs in the Pacific Ocean. Not all atolls are ready to receive tourists since some of the islands have been polluted. But if you do your homework or ask around, you can find those small tropical paradises that made you choose the Marshall Islands as your vacation destination in the first place. The best example is Amo. The atoll is easy to access, and it provides accommodation. You can take long walks, enjoy the sun by sitting in the sand, and of course, you can take a swim in the ocean.

One thing that you need to check is whether or not you need a visa to go to the Marshall Islands. The visa policy is lenient, and chances are that you can go there only with your passport. That is because there are 34 countries and jurisdictions that are visa exempt. Their citizens can travel to the Marshall Islands without a visa and stay up to 90 days. At the same time, visas on arrival are available for the citizens of 64 countries and territories, which means that if you are lucky, you can find your country of origin on that list. Taking a look at the visa policy of the Marshall Islands will help you figure out in which category you are, but we recommend that you use iVisa’s Visa Checker. The tool is easy to use and makes the information you need available in just a few clicks. First, you must locate on the button that says Visa Checker - you can see it in the top right corner of this page. Then, you must select your country of origin in the drag-down menu on the left and the Marshall Islands in the right menu. The result will display whether or not you need a visa. If you do need a visa, you will receive some useful information.

iVisa cannot help you with the visa application process if you need one, but we still want to be of assistance in one way or the other. As a result, our support service is available to you. The service is available 24/7 and it is entirely free of charge.

If you find out that you need a visa to visit the Marshall Islands, you must inquire about the requirements. You can find a lot of information online, but we think that you should use that as a reference only. A diplomatic mission or an embassy will always be the most reliable source of information. You should contact them before visiting. In the meantime, what we can tell you is that you need a valid passport that does not expire for 6 months beyond the date of arrival in the Marshall Islands. Also, travelers eligible for a visa on arrival must provide a recent police record and health clearance.

We regret that we cannot assist you with getting the Marshall Islands visa itself, but we hope that the information above points you in the right direction.
