On September 1, 2014, Myanmar introduced the Tourist eVisa system. Online eVisas are only awarded for tourism and company purposes.


By using iVisa, travelers of certain nationalities are not required to visit the Consulate to apply for an eVisa for tourism. All the required documents and data can be submitted and visa charges can be paid online.

The Myanmar Tourist eVisa is an official document issued electronically by the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. Those who apply will get their visas in their email, after filling out the application form with the necessary information and once the online payment goes through.
