What are the requirements?
The requirements for a New Zealand visa for the citizens of Indonesia are the same as for any other eligible nationality. The items on the list below include that you need before applying, as well as what is required of you once you land in New Zealand.
Passport – every person who applies online needs to have a valid passport. At the same time, you need to make sure that the document remains valid for at least another 3 months from your date of departure from New Zealand.
Digital photo – the picture needs to be as recent as possible and meet all the other guidelines for a passport photo.
Means of payment – iVisa requires that you make the payment during the application process. You can do that using a credit or a debit card, but you can also pay using PayPal, Alipay, or WeChat.
E-mail address – iVisa will send you the visa via e-mail in PDF format. Do not forget to print a few copies so that you have a spare or two.
Means of sustenance – once you arrive in New Zealand, you need to prove that you can support yourself during your trip. A bank account statement should be more than enough.
Return flight ticket – when you arrive at the airport, you may be asked to show a return flight ticket to your country of origin (or another destination if you are in transit.) If you do not have one, you need to prove that you have the financial means to purchase one.
You may have read something about proof of good character. You cannot prove that you have never been convicted of a felony, but if you have a criminal history, you should disclose it.
The application form
You can fill in the application on iVisa whenever you want. Preferably after you put together everything you need. The form is not complicated, and if you need some assistance, you can call iVisa’s support service 24/7.
You need to complete three simple steps. First of all, you need to fill in your personal information such as name, address, etc. Some details about your trip, such as departure date, are also required. During the same step, you must select a processing time too. You are given three choices: Standard, Rush, and Super Rush. Obviously, the first one is the slowest and cheapest, while the last one is the most expensive but fastest.
During step number two, you need to make the payment and revise step one. The latter is of the utmost importance since a single error can invalidate your visa altogether. Make sure that the spelling is correct and that the information is 100% accurate.
Step three is reserved for documents upload. iVisa notifies you about every single piece of paper you need to provide. After step three is complete, you can submit your application and get your New Zealand visa in the timeframe of your choice.
It is easy to see that a New Zealand visa for the citizens of Indonesia is easy to obtain. The process is entirely online, and iVisa handles the hardest part. The document you receive is valid for 18 months, and you can stay in New Zealand for up to 9 months.
