Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

If I'm from Kazakhstan, must I apply for a visa if I want to travel to New Zealand?

Yes, you must apply for a visa if you're Kazakhstani and you want to take a trip to New Zealand. You'll be able to enter this country with an ETA, but you can only get a Consular Tourist Visa by now.

As we mentioned above, iVisa is not offering the New Zealand ETA yet, but you can verify the eligibility for other e-Visas on this website.

It's quite easy to use the iVisa's Visa Checker. You just have to write down your nationality and the country of destination in the drag-down menu. This way, you'll receive the information fast.

By using this tool you'll verify if you're able to apply for an eVisa to that country or if you don't need a visa at all. And in case you have to apply for a Consular Visa, you'll be notified as well.

How long can I stay in New Zealand if I'm a citizen of Kazakhstan?

You can stay in New Zealand for 90 days Per Entry if you're from Kazakhstan.

What are the requirements?

Lucky for you, the process of getting a New Zealand ETA is not very demanding. Plus, you may already have some of the things that are necessary. You will require the following:

  • Payment Alternatives – iVisa accepts more than one payment method. You can pay iVisa's fees using a credit or debit card, but you can also pay with a PayPal account.

  • Valid e-mail address – You obtain the ETA by e-mail. However, don't forget that it is also linked to your passport. We suggest printing out the ETA before departure.

What are the processing times and fees?

Your New Zealand ETA will have a total price that will vary according to the processing time you prefer during the application process. Here are the options iVisa has:

  • Standard processing – You'll obtain your ETA in no more than 2 days and you will pay only USD $89.99.

  • Rush processing – With this method you'll get it even faster, in 6 hours being more precise, but you will pay more, USD $135.99 this time.

  • Super Rush processing – As you can imagine, this is the fastest alternative but also the one with the highest price. Your application will be ready in 2 hours and you will have to pay USD $190.99.

How can I apply?

As soon as you realize that you have everything from the list above, you are ready to proceed with the application form. It is an easy task, but if you need assistance, iVisa has an excellent customer support service that is at your disposal 24/7.

You will notice that the form has three steps:

  1. The first one asks for your personal information, passport info, and some details regarding your trip. You must also choose a processing time for your application, but bear in mind that your decision determines the cost of your ETA.

  2. The second step wants you to handle the payment and check your application. It is one of the most important things to do since your form shouldn't contain any inaccuracies. Otherwise, you will receive an invalid visa, and in that case, repeating the process will be necessary.

  3. The last step asks you to upload your application’s supporting documents. When you are through, just click on the submit button, and iVisa will do its job.
