You will be asked for the following documentation when you are completing the application process for a Nigerian business visa:

• Passport valid for at least 6 months with at least 2 blank visa pages for stamping.
• Two (2) recent passport sized (35/40mm) photograph.
• Return ticket.
• Evidence of sufficient funds.
• Evidence of Hotel Reservation/host address in Nigeria.

Who Can Apply for a Business Visa?

For the country of Nigeria, everyone except those who are a citizen of a country that has been put on the ban list and ECOWAS Nationals (who aren’t required to obtain a visa) are eligible to receive a business visa. Please note that citizens of some countries are only eligible to apply for a visa on arrival. However, the business visa on arrival is available for all travelers except for those from ECOWAS member countries, who don’t need a visa to enter Nigeria.

How Long Can I Stay in Nigeria with a Business Visa?

Business visas allow travelers to stay for a maximum of 90 days. Visas on arrival allow travelers to stay for a maximum of 90 days Per Entry. Neither of these are not eligible for extension. Your e-visa on arrival will expire within 14 days after issued.

What Can I use the Business Visa for?

The Nigerian Immigration Services department issues business visa on arrival for meetings, conferences, seminars, contract negotiations, marketing, sales, purchase distribution of Nigerian goods, trade fairs, job interviews, training of Nigerians (humanitarian services), emergency/relief work, crew members, staff of NGOs, staff of INGOs, researchers, and musical concerts. You are not permitted to use business visas for the purposes of tourism, employment, or residency.
