NORTHERN MARIANA ISLANDS ARE OPEN: Northern Mariana Islands re-opened for tourism in April 2020.
The Northern Mariana Islands Declaration Form was created to manage the risks associated with COVID-19.
All travelers, with the exception of Domestic travelers (USA, Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands, American Samoa, United States Minor Outlying Islands), are required to fill out a digital Declaration Form within 72 hours before departure to the Northern Mariana Islands and must carry printed copies at all times during their trip. All foreign international air travelers aged 18 and over need to display a COVID vaccination certificate. WHO-approved vaccines are accepted.
To acquire this travel document, you’ll need to provide information about yourself, health status, and flight details. Once you provide this information, you will also be enrolled in the Sara Alert System.
When you submit your online application, we’ll forward the Northern Mariana Islands Declaration Form to your email, in order for you to show it to the immigration authorities once you arrive at the airport.

All travelers aged 2 and older need a negative PCR or antigen test taken 24 hours before departure. Only travelers coming from the USA, Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands, American Samoa, and the United States Minor Outlying Islands are exempted.

The Northern Mariana Islands Health Declaration Form is a Single Entry document and expires 30 days after arrival allowing a max stay of 90 days Per Entry.

Do I need a COVID vaccine or vaccination certificate to enter Northern Mariana Islands?
Yes, you do. All foreign international air travelers aged 18 and over need to display a COVID vaccination certificate. WHO-approved vaccines are accepted. The last dose must have been received at least 14 days before traveling.
