What do you need to apply for the Pakistan eVisa?

All visa applications require documents to back them up. Applications for regular visas will require you to attend a Pakistan mission or embassy and apply there. You may also need to bring your documents with you, which could be cumbersome for you. However, the eVisa application only needs a few things, which you don’t even have to take outside.

For the eVisa, here are the documentary requirements:

1.A clear digital scan of the details page of the applicant’s passport. The passport should be valid for a minimum of six months after the visa’s expiration date.

2.A clear photo of the applicant taken within the last six months.

3.Your travel itinerary, as well as your plane tickets for arrival and departure.

4.An invitation letter and proof of residence/ accommodations. This can be a confirmation of the hotel booking or the ID of your Pakistani host.

5.You may need to submit a bank statement and an invitation letter if it is required.

You can watch tutorials on how to take the perfect visa photo and photos of the required document so the resulting images are clear and easy to work with.

How long is the validity period of the visa?

The Pakistan eVisa is valid for a maximum of . If you use it within that time frame, it will allow you to stay within the country for up to (from the date of arrival). The visa is only good for one entry. If you need to leave the country and come back again, you need as many visas as the number of entries you expect to make into Pakistan.

When is the best time to apply for a Pakistan eVisa?

Travelers are urged to apply for the Pakistan eVisa at least 10 days before they are set to arrive in the country. The application takes less than half an hour using the iVisa.com platform, even if you need to scan and upload the digital scans and photos of documentary requirements. Once the application has been processed and approved, the applicant will receive a copy of the eVisa on their email. They need to download and print out the form and present it to Pakistani authorities at the port of entry.
