Everything you need to know about the Poland Visa for Indians
A Schengen visa is a mandatory travel authorization for all foreign nationals looking to travel to Poland or any of the Schengen countries. This document is a short-stay visa that allows Indian nationals a stay in Poland of up to 90 days for tourism or business purposes.
With this visa, Indian citizens will be able to travel freely to any other Schengen country besides Poland, thanks to the open border among these countries. It is the most common visa for visiting Poland for foreign citizens, instead of a Polish tourist visa.
However, if you are planning to study, work, or live in Poland, contact the Polish embassy or consulate to apply for the correct Polish visa instead.

How to apply for a Polish Schengen Visa from India
There are three steps to applying for the Schengen Visa. You must apply for the Schengen visa in the country you will visit as your main destination, in this case Poland.
These are the general steps of applying online for a travel document on iVisa:
-
First, complete our online Schengen Visa application form using your personal information. We recommend that you have all your supporting documents handy at the time of the visa application. This way, you’ll be able to refer to them and fill out the form correctly.
-
Second, make sure all your details in the visa application form are correct. This step is crucial, as most applications are rejected due to inconsistencies between the visa application form and the supporting documents. Check carefully that your name, date of birth, and passport numbers are correct. These are among the most common error.
-
Third, select a form of payment and upload all the supporting documents.
After we receive your Schengen visa application to visit Poland (once it’s available to do your application), we will carefully review it and reach out to you if there are any additional documents you will need to apply.
Some travelers are required to present a birth or marriage certificate. If this is the case, we will contact you via email to provide the extra documents.
What are the processing times and fees for the Schengen Visa application?
At the moment, iVisa doesn’t offer the Schengen visa online yet. However, we usually offer our customers three options to choose from:
