You may not have seen much information about the Seychelles Islands, but we can assure you that this small African territory can fascinate you thanks to its tropical islands, like Mahé and Praslin, which have beaches and coral reefs for diving. Also, this small conglomerate of islands may be more affordable than other destinations due to its low popularity, meaning that you can use that point to your advantage.
The Seychelles Islands have many points in their favor because they can offer you some beach corners that have hardly been touched by man, and also other interesting tourist spots such as national parks and reserves in case you want to know more about the nature of this place.
Islands and nature reserves are the stars of Seychelles tourism. Additionally, since it is such a small territory, it’s possible to explore it almost entirely within a few days, which means that you could plan a trip to this destination that only takes two or three weeks.
As for the most attractive tourist spots in this place, we must mention La Digue. La Digue is the third most inhabited island in Seychelles and the fourth in size. This island has an area of 10 km², and you can find it east of Praslin and west of Felicité island. Its population is very small, reaching a maximum of 2000 inhabitants, who live mainly in the villages on the west coast: La Passe and La Reunion. La Digue owes its name to a ship in the fleet of the French explorer Marc-Joseph Marion du Fresne, who visited Seychelles in 1768.
Seychelles is a territory that stands out for its islands with white sands and crystal clear waters, so in addition to La Digue, you could also visit other beaches and attractive points. A good example of this can be Beau Vallon Beach, popular for its marine activities such as snorkeling and also for the wide variety of restaurants nearby the sea. Other beaches that you can visit are Anse Lazio, Cote D'Or, and Anse Intendance.
Keep in mind that many of these beaches are part of small islets. One of the most stunning islands in Seychelles is Curieuse, not only for its scenic beauty but also for being home to approximately 300 giant Aldabra tortoises. This island is also known for the sea coconut palms, the giant Takamaka trees, the Hawksbill turtle, and several species of bird including the Seychelles black parrot, which you can find only here and in Praslin.
This island has a privileged hotel with 16 rooms. This hotel is located in a coconut grove, which gives it a greater atmosphere of luxury and exclusivity. Each room has 186 m2 and has been built with natural materials brought from Egypt, Thailand, Asia, which is why it is so expensive to stay there, but it is quite worth it. The name of this island is due to Lazare Picault, as he named it that way due to the abundance of frigates that he observed on the island. In this place, you can find several tokamaks, cashews, juggling almond trees, and the rare Seychelles blackbird, as well as some reintroduced giant Aldabra tortoises.
Other islands that you can explore in Seychelles are Bird Island, Desroches Island, and Denis Island.
Seychelles is more than pretty islands. In this small country, you can also find other impressive natural landscapes such as the Valle of Mai Nature Reserve. This reserve has a natural jungle of palm trees and an important fauna with several protected species. Similarly, you can also tour the Sainte Anne Marine National Park, which is located about 5 km from Victoria. This park was created in 1973 for the preservation of wildlife, so you can find a wide variety of native Seychelles animals, especially birds and turtles.
Since Seychelles is a small country, you’ll have no problem planning tours to explore it calmly. What you should take into account is that some services can be more expensive than others, especially when it comes to resort stays. In case you decide to explore Seychelles as a luxury, plan so that you can adjust your expenses to your budget.
As for the requirements that you may need to travel to Seychelles, they should not be many, especially if you have a passport without so many restrictions. In any case, you must confirm on our website with the Visa Checker if you need a visa or not, although you probably won’t need any because only a few countries require one.
What is mandatory to enter this territory is The Seychelles Islands Travel Authorization because the Seychelles government recently launched this document as a control against the coronavirus and other similar diseases. The Seychelles Islands Travel Authorization is not difficult to obtain because, since it is an electronic document, you only need to fill out an online form. This way, The Seychelles Islands Travel Authorization can be processed as soon as possible so that you can have it ready to use when you travel.

In case you need a visa to enter the country, you would have to apply for it separately.
