Learn More: Travel Authorization

SEYCHELLES IS OPEN: Seychelles fully re-opened for tourism in January 2022

DOCUMENT OVERVIEW
The Seychelles Travel Authorization is a mandatory travel document that all visitors must submit to enter Seychelles. It is part of the new health measures created for the current coronavirus pandemic. Do not forget that it does not replace a visa nor any other travel authorization required by some nationalities.

Get started here.

WHO CAN ENTER THE SEYCHELLES WITH THIS DOCUMENT?
Anyone who wants to go to the Seychelles must submit the Seychelles Travel Authorization before their arrival, even if it is a short visit. There are no exceptions for any visitors.

All nationalities can apply here.

OBTAIN THE SEYCHELLES TRAVEL AUTHORIZATION
To get this travel authorization, you will have to report specific information about yourself, your trip, and your medical status prior to arriving in the country.

Go to our application page to acquire the Seychelles Travel Authorization.

DISPLAY THE FORM
After you submit the form, we will start processing your document and shortly after you will receive a confirmation in your email.

Required Documents to Apply

  • Passport page
  • Applicant's photo
  • Airline confirmation
  • Proof of accommodation
  • Yellow Fever Vaccination (if applicable)

Important Instructions

  • The Seychelles Islands Travel Authorization is part of the required documents you will need to enter The Seychelles Islands. It DOES NOT replace a visa. If your country requires a visa, the immigration officers will ask for your Visa when you enter The Seychelles Islands. Keep in mind some nationalities will require a paper visa. If that is your case, we suggest you contact your local embassy.

  • You can apply anytime, but remember we can only process your application with a max of 5 days prior arrival.

  • Each individual must apply individually for the HTA. Parents or the accompanying adult is responsible for filling in the application for under 18s.

  • Airlines, ships, and airports may submit travelers to further medical tests independently from the certificate provided when applying for the HTA.

  • Travelers do not need to show proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test upon arrival anymore.

  • Proof of accommodation is required to obtain the travel document. The dates in this document MUST match the travel dates selected in the application. This is a requirement that is demanded by the government in order to issue the travel document.

  • You must buy a ticket and reserve your accommodation in Seychelles before completing the STA application because the flight number or vessel identification and information regarding your accommodation at the destination is required for an HTA application.

  • It is important that all provided information is as accurate as possible including travel itinerary, residence, accommodation at destination and phone number.

  • Visitors must ensure that accommodation bookings are made only at licensed establishments or liveaboards that have been certified by the Public Health Authority.

  • Visitors must have valid travel health insurance for Seychelles.

  • If you are not able to provide the necessary documents, you will need to re-apply once you have acquired them.

  • The application can be made between 72 and 1 hour before departure. The reviewing process may take up to three hours before validation.

Please contact our experts as soon as possible. We'll be happy to help you continue with the process so that you can enjoy your trip on time.

If for some reason the Seychelles Government rejects your document application, we will refund the iVisa processing fee. However, government fees are nonrefundable.

If you would like a refund, please send an email with your request to [email protected], including your order number and the reason for your refund request in the email.

You can reapply for the Seychelles Travel Authorization through iVisa if your original application was canceled or rejected.

Travelers wishing to transit through Seychelles on their way to their destination should follow the "conditions of entry" guidelines on the Ministry of Health website.

These guidelines can be found on the country's consulate website. Or you can also contact our experts and they will be able to provide you with an answer.

If your visa still needs to be processed, we can make any changes without any problem. We constantly check that everything is correct in your information, so that there is no mistake in the process.

However, if you have already applied to the appropriate government agency, some will allow you to make changes while others will not. Much of it will depend on the flexibility of the country you are applying to.

If you have any questions about this, please do not hesitate to contact us immediately, preferably via chat.

Check your spam folder if you don't find the confirmation email in your inbox. If, after checking there, you still need help finding the information, please contact our experts via chat to have the email resent to you.
At iVisa, we understand that your time is valuable, and we strive to provide you with the fastest service possible. Our processing times are estimated based on the average duration it takes governments to process visa applications. These estimated times begin from the moment we receive all the correct information for your application until you receive your visa. While we work diligently to expedite the process, it’s important to note that we are reliant on the processing times set by the government authorities.
