The UK ETA is designed for travelers visiting the United Kingdom for short stays. With this travel authorization, you can enter the UK for several purposes, including tourism and business.
The ETA is valid for two years or until your passport expires, whichever comes first. You can enter and leave the UK multiple times during this period, as long as each visit stays within the six-month limit.

Extension: Extendable, progressing towards settlement, provided eligible conditions continue to be met.

Marriage Visitor Visa*
Purpose: For individuals traveling to the UK to marry or register a civil partnership, or to give notice of marriage or civil partnership.
Validity: Up to six months.

Extension: Not extendable.

Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR)*
Purpose: For individuals who have lawfully lived in the UK under qualifying visas and are seeking permanent residency.
Validity: Indefinite. No time limit on stay.
Entries: Multiple entries allowed without restrictions.
Extension: Not required once granted, though ILR can lapse after 2 years of absence from the UK.
