Please note that as of June 2022 the CDC no longer requires travelers to present a negative COVID-19 test or documentation of recovery from COVID pre arrival to the US

As a Palestinian, you are not allowed to travel to the United States without getting a visa first. If your trip is for tourism or business purposes, then you have to apply for a US B1/B2 Visa for the citizens of the State of Palestine before your departure. iVisa.com cannot help you get the visa itself, but it can assist you with the information required to apply. Plus, we will soon offer a service that will help you apply for the confirmation page you need when going to the embassy. Not only that, but we will also schedule the interview for you at the nearest US embassy.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the U.S. B1/B2 Visa?

A B1/B2 Visa is an American paper visa that permits you to enter the United States. This visa is available only by going to the nearest U.S. diplomatic mission.

Sadly, we do not issue the B1/B2 Visa yet, but we will offer a special online service to simplify that process very soon. What we do provide is a Diversity Lottery Entry Form which can be very useful to have a chance of getting a Green Card.

What are the requirements to apply for the B1/B2 Visa?

The list of documents might be a bit long, but it is necessary to get an approved visa. The more specific you are with the information and documentation required, the better.

The list of requirements may vary a little depending on each applicant, but generally speaking, you will need:

  • Passport – To apply for a visa, you need to be a passport holder. Make sure to look at its expiration date before application because the document has to be valid for at least another 6 months from the date of your intended departure from the US.
  • Digital photo – Ensure that the picture follows all the official guidelines for a passport photo. For example, it must have been taken recently.
  • Travel itinerary – This requirement does not apply if you did not have the chance to make all the arrangements yet.
  • Dates of 5 previous trips to the US (if required).
  • Additional information – you need to be prepared with all the documents you have that are related to your trip. You may be asked to provide any extra information you have about your travels.
  • E-mail address – This is necessary to receive the document.
  • Means of payment – Get ready to pay for the fees with your debit/credit card.

What are the processing times and prices?

You can only know the total price of this document by contacting the embassy.

Once we launch the online service to apply for a US B1/B2 Visa for the citizens of the State of Palestine, we will offer you the following options. These options include the Government’s fee and our fees:

  • Standard Processing option - Select the cheapest alternative if you can wait a reasonable time for your travel document.
  • Rush Processing option - Expect your travel document in less time if you pay a higher price.
  • Super Rush Processing option - The travel document will arrive right away if you go for the highest fee.

How is the application process with iVisa.com?

The process for the US B1/B2 Visa for the citizens of the State of Palestine is based on these steps:

  • First, you have to complete our simple online form, upload your documents, and pay for the fees. With the information you offer, iVisa.com will submit the DS-160 form on your behalf to the U.S. government. Where applicable, iVisa.com also handles the payment of the consular fee. Sadly, in some application countries (India, Bhutan via India, Nigeria, Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam), payment can only be made in person by the applicant.
  • Secondly, as soon as we finish coordinating the best time and date with you, we schedule your interview appointment at your chosen U.S. embassy/consulate.
  • Thirdly, you go to your interview, kill it, and leave your passport with the U.S. embassy/consulate to issue the visa.
  • Lastly, you receive your passport with your U.S. B1/B2 visa in it. Before your interview, we will send you a complete set with all the things to expect from your interview and offer you a list of documents you should take along with you on the day of the interview. Once the interview is done, the US Embassy will probably keep hold of your passport to place the visa sticker in it.

Please keep in mind that this is not the same process for the B1/B2 Visa Renewal. You can learn more about that process in particular by going to our website.

iVisa.com Recommends

When we say the U.S, most people think immediately of New York City, and it is with reason if we are talking about the city that has spectacular places like the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Central Park, the Empire State, and many more. Besides, “The Big Apple” is an incredible place to get to know more about American culture, especially when seeing the artistic expression in the streets.

As you can see, New York City has a lot to give, but what if we travel south in the U.S.? What if we visit Miami, Florida? Another incredible place in the U.S. Here, you can start your early morning in South Beach, an amazing spot to see the majesty of the Atlantic Ocean. You can also visit the front porch or the News Cafe if you want to enjoy a pleasant breakfast (don't forget to try Cuban coffee, it is one of the best ways to wake up).

The U.S. is an enormous country, so you will easily find something to do there!
