The Guinean government checks passport validity, personal information, and travel plans and verifies that the required documents are consistent and complete.
That’s why every application gets a full review by one of our visa experts. We check for errors, missing information, or anything that could slow down your approval.
We’re not the Guinean government. Once everything is complete, we submit your application to the Guinean authorities for processing.
Once your application is approved, we’ll notify you right away. Your approved travel document will be sent directly to your email.
💡Pro tip: "When applying for the Guinea visa, the yellow fever certificate was the first thing immigration asked for. Keep it handy, it’s checked before they even stamp your passport."
The Guinea Tourist eVisa is designed for travelers visiting Guinea for tourism, family visits, or short business-related stays. With this visa, you can:
The eVisa is valid for up to 90 days, allows single entry, and must be used within 90 days of issuance.
The Guinea Multiple-Entry Visa, officially known as the VESRM, is issued to nationals of countries that maintain bilateral or special treaty agreements with Guinea.
This visa allows repeated entry over a period of three to five years, depending on the specific agreement in place, making it especially useful for frequent travelers such as business visitors.
Applicants are generally required to provide a recent passport photo with a white background, a scanned copy of their passport’s data page, proof of a confirmed return flight, and a valid Yellow Fever vaccination certificate.
Unfortunately, we currently don’t offer this visa.*
The Guinea Transit Visa, known as the VTB, is designed for travelers passing through Guinea en route to another destination.
It is typically issued for very short stays, usually not exceeding three days, and requires proof of onward travel such as a confirmed flight ticket along with a valid visa for the final destination if required.
*Although we currently don’t offer this visa, you can apply via the Guinea government.
Visa-free entry is granted to citizens of ECOWAS states such as Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, and Nigeria, who may stay up to 90 days for tourism, business, or family visits.
Short-stay exemptions also apply to travelers from Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, and Singapore. Most other nationalities must use Guinea’s digital eVisa platform, which supports tourism, business, and transit visas, usually valid for a single entry of up to 90 days, though some countries like the US and Canada may receive multi-year validity.
For longer stays involving work, study, or family reunification, travelers must apply for a Long-Term Visa (VLS), often requiring a sponsor and supporting documents, with final approval coordinated through Guinean embassies.
All visitors need a passport valid six months beyond arrival, a yellow fever certificate, and may be asked for proof of onward travel, accommodation, and funds. Overstays can result in fines, bans, or detention, so extensions should be requested through the official portal before expiry. Always confirm the latest requirements via the eVisa system or a Guinean embassy.
Applying for a visa on your own can be confusing and time-consuming. iVisa simplifies the process, reduces errors, and gives you peace of mind

Yes, it’s possible to request an extension through Guinea’s official eVisa platform. You must apply before your current visa expires. Extensions are not guaranteed and are approved based on your visa type, nationality, and reason for prolonging your stay.
Visas on arrival are available to a limited number of nationalities under specific conditions, such as travelers from the UAE. However, most travelers are encouraged to apply online for an eVisa before departure to avoid delays or complications at the border.
